Probably Stolen Lou: Bomb, Toy Box & Demand
Lou becomes eligible after the Business Permit. Reporting the first visit pays a bounty but continues the storyline; later stages involve a fake bomb, a toy box you must keep intact, and a goods-or-cash demand with a real-bomb failure path.

Before Lou appears
Community release research places Lou after you buy the Business Permit. First-visit timing is driven by low cash, an unpaid rent or mortgage morning, or a fallback window after the permit—not a single fixed calendar day.
This page summarises publicly documented storyline research. It is not an independent playthrough log from this site. Keep a save before major choices if you want to compare outcomes.
Visits, bomb and toy box
Reveal story spoilers
Reporting the first wanted visit pays about 1,500 Credits and can continue the arc; letting Lou leave without reporting can stop later visits. After an arrest, later mornings can bring an unavoidable return.
Researchers describe an early planted device that can be disarmed and becomes a fake explosive rather than an instant game over. Separately, Lou may leave a toy box whose contents must still be present when collected; a missing toy or missing box is linked to a real-bomb ending.
Later, Lou can appear disguised and demand roughly 1,500 Credits of weapons, ammunition and medical goods. Community notes describe a partial “That’s All I Have” path that still requires goods plus cash to reach at least 500; falling short is linked to a debt-bomb ending. Exact inventory tests can differ by build, so read the live dialogue.
Practical checks during the arc
| Situation | What researchers check |
|---|---|
| First visit | Business Permit done; cash/rent pressure; bounty vs letting Lou leave |
| Bomb found in storage | Whether it is the early fake device you can disarm |
| Toy box waiting | Keep the box and tagged toys intact until collection |
| 1,500 demand | Weapons, ammo and meds value; do not assume base catalog price equals negotiated contribution |
| “That’s All I Have” | Goods plus available cash versus the documented 500 survival floor |

What remains uncertain
Scheduling can slip when other morning visitors take priority. Endless Mode and specific perks can change who appears.
This page does not claim every Lou ending or every bomb variant is listed. Use it to avoid mixing the fake early bomb with later real-bomb failures.
Common questions
When does Lou show up?
Community research ties eligibility to buying the Business Permit, then low cash, unpaid obligations, or a fallback delay—not one universal day number.
Should I report Lou?
Reporting can pay a large bounty but continues the storyline. Letting Lou leave may stop later visits. Choose based on whether you want the arc.
What causes Lou’s bomb game over?
Researchers separate an early fake bomb from later real-bomb paths tied to a missing toy box/contents or failing the goods-and-cash demand floor.
