Tips worth keeping
- 01
Set up before opening the shutter
Changes made after opening only affect the next day’s visitors.
- 02
Displays bring buyers, neon brings sellers
Use the display case for what you want to sell and the neon sign when you need stock.
- 03
Clear the outer counter at night
Leave space on both sides of the counter, and do not leave goods on the outer counter overnight.
- 04
Bargaining is a trade-off
Giving the customer a better price raises the faction standing you gain and buyers’ budgets; squeezing them does the opposite.
- 05
Check shop value on Day 14
Look at the calendar before deciding between a mortgage and saving for a cash buyout.

Skipping the tutorial
Skip Intro removes the Mentor and most introductions (but not the visual appraisal intro), and also removes the protected early scavenging searches. It is forced on for the Fence, Gunsmith, Chemist and Rock Bottom starts.
