Probably Stolen Permits: Business & Weapon Permit Guide

Quick answer

A Trade Board official visits to sell the Business Permit: 500 Credits on Cozy, 1,500 on Normal, 2,000 on Hard, 3,000 on Challenge. Refusing files an “operating without a licence” crime. Weapon Permits I–III come from Wild’s Network projects (base 300 / 600 / 900) and are issued at morning opening once your Security standing reaches 20 / 50 / 80.

Business Permit price by difficulty

The permit is sold in person by a Station Trade Board official and is “required to legally operate a business in the Lower Levels.” Buying it puts the document on your counter.

DifficultyBusiness Permit
Cozy (Price Gouge)500 Credits
Normal (Mark Up)1,500 Credits
Hard (Thin Margins)2,000 Credits
Challenge3,000 Credits

Your choices when the official visits

ChoiceWhat happens
BuyPays the fee and records the permit. Done.
PostponeEnds the visit; the official comes back next time.
Hand over goodsGive goods worth the requested total to avoid a report for one week. Buys time only — no permit.
RefuseFiles an operating-without-a-licence crime and starts an investigation.
Keep in mind

The source identifies warning and follow-up dialogue, but does not establish a fixed first/second/third-visit timetable. Postponing does not prove the next visit is exactly seven days away.

What refusing costs

The crime value depends on the day of the week you refuse: 50 + 20 × (store day mod 7), cycling 50, 70, 90, 110, 130, 150, 170. It does not climb over the run.

Keep in mind

Crime stacks with your other records. The Intimidating perk multiplies recorded crime by 0.67; Blabbermouth by 1.33.

Weapon Permits I–III

Buy the tier as a Wild’s Network project; difficulty, standing and perks change the final cost. The certificate appears on your counter at the next morning opening once your Security standing reaches the threshold. Each tier covers firearms and ammunition of one contraband level (low, mid, high) — a higher tier does not replace a lower one, and critical contraband can never be permitted.

The Gunsmith start begins with Tier I.

Losing and regaining a weapon permit

  1. 01

    Watch your Security standing

Falling below the revocation line schedules an officer. One conversation can revoke several tiers.

  2. 02

    Expect stock to turn contraband

Revocation restores contraband status on matching firearms in your shop.

  3. 03

    Recover above the issue line

You do not rebuy the project, but you must climb back to the issue threshold (20 for Tier I, not just 0).

Keep in mind

The inspected revocation callback removes firearm authorization without removing ammunition authorization in the same call. Check the actual status of each item; do not assume a blanket change for all weapons and ammo.
