Probably Stolen 3D Printer: Chips, Gun Parts & Modules
The 3D Printer turns materials into items using a reusable chip blueprint. It uses 8 energy and does 24 work per powered night, so a 60-work chip takes 3 nights. Frames and Gun Parts need both the Metal Printer and CNC modules; Gun Part batches grow with ingot purity.

How to print
- 01
Insert a chip and its materials
Load the chip, the materials and a power source. Inputs are consumed on the first night and work begins immediately.
- 02
Clear the output area
A finished print has no refund, retry or overflow. If the output grid is full, you can lose the job.
- 03
Keep the power on
A power cut pauses the job without refunding materials. The chip and module bays stay locked until the print is done.
- 04
Use your best ingots for Gun Parts
Ingot purity is captured when the job starts and decides the Gun Part batch size.

Nights assume the base 24 work per night. Material lists are printed on each chip in game.
Printer modules
| Module | Price | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Metal Printer Module | 300 | Unlocks chips that need metal printing. |
| CNC Module | 400 | Required together with the Metal module for frames and Gun Parts. |
| Melee Batch Module | 250 | Adds one extra weapon per melee print, but lowers performance and efficiency. Stackable. |
Quality and Gun Part batches
The printer’s effective quality is its raw quality divided by 4 (rounded down). For Gun Parts, the batch size steps through 2, 3, 3, 4, 4 and 5 as ingot purity improves — smelt ore-heavy batches in the Furnace if you print parts.
Common questions
How do I make Gun Parts in Probably Stolen?
Install both the Metal Printer Module and the CNC Module, insert the Gun Part chip and Metal Ingots, and power the printer for 2 nights (30 work). Higher-purity ingots give up to 5 parts.
How long does a 3D print take?
The printer does 24 work per powered night. Divide the chip’s work by 24 and round up — for example, a 60-work chip takes 3 nights.
Is the chip used up?
No. Chips are reusable; only the materials are consumed.
